Sukeri's Toffee Apple Bliss | Christmas Acrylic Print - French Cleat Hanging

Imagined and drawn by me, Barry Gray, Sukeri’s Toffee Apple Bliss brings together two things that belong in an enchanted Christmas: fantastical beings and irresistible treats. Inspired by the atmosphere of Scandinavian folklore, Sukeri is my own whimsical creation with an insatiable sweet tooth.

Her name carries the idea of sugar and sweetness, and she is quite at home investigating the delights of a hollowed-out toffee apple. Standing inside the apple, she pauses to blow a sugary bubble, surrounded by a world made for her appetite and curiosity.

A cinnamon stick forms the apple’s stalk, accompanied by a single mint leaf. Beneath it lies a nest of pink-red candy floss, surrounded by smaller puffs perched on stalks, seemingly ready to burst. It is a small glimpse into my imagined world, where Christmas treats become places to explore and magic has a sweet tooth.
