On Halloween night, when souls stir and push against the veil, he walks the inner fences. A being woven from leaves and vines, crowned with a pumpkin head, carrying an ember-lit lamp through the dark. He is neither living nor dead - he is something older than both. His patrol keeps the emerging souls within the barrier, hidden from the human world above, and the fragile secret of their existence intact. Without him, there is no Halloween. There is only chaos.

Hand-drawn in charcoal by artist Barry Gray, this original surrealist Halloween artwork now travels with you to the beach or pool. Because The Gatekeeper never really clocks off - and neither should great art. A bold, striking towel that turns heads and sparks conversation wherever you take it.
